I had an eventful summer ranging from a restful vacation in North Carolina to crossing raging rivers on a fifty-mile backpacking trip in Yellowstone National Park. I also fit two six-week online SMC college courses into my schedule to fulfill the A-G requirements for graduation. This year in the PLTW Engineering Academy, I am most excited to work with a team to compete in the JPL Invention Challenge. I am also excited to be the vice president of the Novice Engineering Club at Santa Monica High School. I hope to gain leadership experience and experience in teaching CAD and 3D printing to aspiring engineers.
